An Adventure Awaits!
We have different programs and classes for groups and individuals  to choose from.   Each of these activities below are 1 ½ hours long.  For group reservations please contact Lincoln Marsh at (630) 871-5810.  Individuals please check the Wheaton Park District Brochure.

Canoeing (Due to the Northside Park renovations, canoeing is unavailable until 2011)
Canoeing is held at the lagoon in Northside Park. Programs teaching the basics of canoeing are offered to ages grades 4-adult in the Spring, Summer, and Fall seasons.

• Maximum group size is 12 participants
• $9/ Wheaton resident

Geocaching
Explore Lincoln Marsh while using GPS units to find hidden treasures.  Offered in all seasons

• Grades 3 – adult
• $9 Wheaton resident
• $12 Non Wheaton resident
• Call for fees for groups over 25
• Need a chaperone for every 5 participants for anyone under 16

Orienteering
Learn how to use a compass including taking a bearing and walking paces. Find your way through the orienteering course in the Lincoln Marsh. Programs are available in all seasons.

Snowshoeing
Explore the winter wonderland on snowshoes.  Learn about snowshoeing and take a trek through the trails.

Team Adventure Camp
Head out to the Lincoln Marsh for a camp filled with adventure education activities! Each camp adventure begins at the Lincoln Marsh and may include travel to another location within the park district or offsite for field trips. Camps are offered during the summer season.
