Program Options

The Lincoln Marsh Teams and Ropes Course is open year round. All courses are designed to meet the objectives and abilities of each group. Participants are broken into groups of 8 to 15.


Cooperative Games
is a fun program of activities that explore group communication, cooperation, and bonding.
• 2 hours
• Grade 4-Adult
• Maximum 60 participants


Teams Courses
enable group development through low course initiatives. Participants begin with icebreakers, move into problem solving, and work toward trust. After a challenge is completed, facilitators provide opportunities for reflection and discussion.
• 3 or 4 hours
•Grade 5-Adult
• Maximum 60 participants


Ropes Courses
develop partner and personal growth. Participants review and practice with safety equipment before ascending the 25 foot course. Participants are challenged with eight different elements to accomplish.
• 4 hours
• Grade 7-Adult
• Maximum 15 participants


Combo Courses
utilize both the Teams and Ropes Courses. The 6 hour program begins with a Teams Course in the morning. Participants have a half hour lunch break and then complete the Ropes Course for the second half.
• 6 hours
• Grade 7-Adult
• Maximum 30 participants


Travel Courses
bring the Teams Course to you! All we need is a large meeting space (indoor/outdoor), and we will customize a program to meet your needs. Let us help you work toward becoming a better team.
• 3 or 4 hours
• Grade 5-Adult
• Maximum 60 participants

Professional Team Building meeting room acommodations and specialty menus are available at nearby Arrowhead Golf Club on Butterfield Road. Whether you are already having an event at Arrowhead, or need a facility for your luncheon with your Lincoln Marsh Teams Course event, Arrowhead Golf Club provides a variety of accommodations for your group. Packages are available for corporate and social groups from 10 to 300 persons. Team Building sessions can accommodate a maximum of 60 participants at a time.

Custom Programs
can be combined with the Teams Course or Cooperative Games. Activities include:
• Canoeing (at Northside Park)
• Geocaching
• Nature
• Orienteering
• Snowshoeing


Scout Programs
are also available for Cub and Girl Scouts.

Please Note: Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of full payment. Payment is required two weeks prior to your course date. Payments received any later will be subject to a $50 late fee.

Checks should be made out to the Wheaton Park District and sent to the attention of:
Lincoln Marsh Teams Course or pay by credit card at 630-871-2810.


Cancellation Policy-Please note late fee

  • The last day for a client to cancel without penalty is two weeks prior to the course date.
  • Groups cancelling with less than two weeks notice will be charged 25% of the total fee.
  • Groups cancelling with less than 24 hours notice will be charged the full amount.

The Wheaton Park District reserves the right to cancel the Course if staff determines the course is unsafe due to inclement weather. The client may reschedule or receive a partial refund if the course was in progress.
